Nature of the service

Teeth Whitening as described on this website is a cosmetic treatment applied to healthy natural teeth. It is not dental treatment. It does not diagnose or treat decay, gum disease, cracked or broken teeth, or any other clinical condition, and it is not a substitute for examination and care by a qualified dental professional.

Suitability and the right to decline

A pre-treatment assessment is carried out before any treatment begins. Treatment may be declined or deferred where the assessment identifies untreated decay, active gum disease, extensive restorations in the visible smile, discolouration unlikely to respond, or any other reason why proceeding would be inappropriate. Where treatment is declined for these reasons, no treatment fee is payable.

Treatment is not offered to anyone under eighteen, to anyone whose teeth are still developing, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where elective cosmetic treatment is commonly postponed.

Information you provide

You are responsible for giving accurate information at the enquiry and assessment stages, including about existing dental work, previous whitening, sensitivity, allergies, and current dental care. Treatment planning depends on this information, and withholding or misstating it may affect both safety and outcome.

Results

The extent of any shade change varies between individuals and depends on the starting shade, the type and depth of staining, enamel characteristics, and the presence of restorations. No specific result is promised or guaranteed. Crowns, veneers, bridges, and tooth-coloured fillings do not lighten. Results are not permanent and will gradually change as new staining accumulates.

Aftercare

Aftercare guidance is provided at the end of every appointment. Following it materially affects how much of the result is retained, particularly during the first forty-eight hours. No responsibility is accepted for a diminished result where aftercare guidance has not been followed.

Home visits

Where treatment is delivered at your address, you are responsible for providing a suitable seat, access to a power socket, access to a sink, and a safe working environment. Availability of home visits depends on travel distance and is confirmed at the point of enquiry. An appointment may be discontinued where the environment is unsuitable or unsafe.

Appointments and payment

Pricing published on this website is indicative and should be confirmed at the point of booking. Promotional pricing is subject to change and may be withdrawn. Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and payment terms are as set out in the panel above and are confirmed when an appointment is arranged.

Use of this website

The content of this website is provided for general information only. It does not constitute clinical advice, diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional consultation. While reasonable care is taken to keep the information accurate and current, no warranty is given that it is complete or free of error, and it may be changed without notice.

Text and design on this website may not be reproduced or republished without permission. Links to external websites, where present, are provided for convenience and imply no endorsement or responsibility for their content.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, no liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss, or for any diminished result arising from inaccurate information provided at assessment or from aftercare guidance not being followed.

Complaints

Any concern about treatment or service should be raised as soon as possible using the complaints route identified in the panel above, so that it can be looked into while the circumstances are fresh and any recorded shade comparison is available.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your enquiry or appointment is the version that applies.
